This course provides licensed massage therapists with advanced practical skills in lower body prone shiatsu techniques emphasizing the Kidney and Bladder meridians, flexibility enhancement using Thai movement, targeted stretching protocols (Quadriceps, Rectus Femoris, Psoas, Soleus), and essential joint mobilizations (tibiofemoral distraction & anterior hip glide). Instruction combines theoretical context, safe positioning, and hands-on practice to enhance clinical confidence and manual effectiveness.

Learning Outcomes:
Participants will be able to: Perform shiatsu palm and elbow pressure sequences on the Kidney meridian, foot, and lower leg. Apply palm acupressure along the Bladder meridian in the upper leg area. Execute Thai-based movement techniques within a client’s range of motion. Facilitate effective manual assisted stretches for quadriceps, rectus femoris, psoas, and soleus in prone. Demonstrate tibiofemoral distraction and an anterior hip joint glides safely and effectively.
