Trigger points are integral in the pathogenesis of acute and chronic myofascial pain syndromes, particularly in the common complaints of lower back/hip pain and neck/shoulder girdle pain and headache. This course will review trigger points in general, and will focus on the treatment of the above mentioned areas.

Learning Outcomes:
History of back / neck pain and your potential client. Review of anatomy. Review of trigger points. Understanding muscle physiology and biomechanics and how it relates to these clients. Hands on training in passive, active and dynamic myofascial techniques to free up mobility and significantly decrease client discomfort.
