In this class, we focus on the practitioners body mechanics and how it affects the treatment as well as the practitioners sense in their own body. This has implications for not only the clients experience and efficacy of the treatment, but the practitioners sense of being and longevity in the profession.
This will be a very direct hands on and practical class. Adam will examine and mentor each participants body mechanics and optimize mobility. We will look at common massage techniques and how functional movement and body mechanics can make the techniques more effective while at the same time creating practitioner efficiency in movement and application. This results in less stress to the practitioner and ability to do more with less effort.
